Are you in Grades 6-8? Do you want to meet new people your own age? Do you want to have fun and enjoy being together? Do you want to know who Jesus Christ is and learn what it means to live for Him? Then come and hang out with our Jr. High Youth Group...again it meets 1st and 3rd Sundays month from 5:30-7:30pm at Sandy Hill. When we meet, it's about is Faith, Friendship, and Fun. The aim and hope of the Jr. High Group is that everyone who meets together will experience the love and presence of God, enjoy building lasting frienships, and have lots of fun in the process! So at every meeting, we play games and hang out...we share what's going on in our lives...we pray and study the Bible...and... whatever else we can dream up!
Starting in 2009, the Jr High will also have their own Sunday morning class. The class will feature Bible-based curriculum with an interactive-style of teaching.
Both the Sunday morning and Sunday evening events are open to anyone who wants to come. Meaning...You don't have to be a member of Sandy Hill Community Church- You don't have to be a Spiritual giant- You don't have go to the same school as everyone else- You don't have to like the same NFL Football Team as Pastor Dave or George (although it helps!!!) All you have to do is come and have a desire to make friends, have fun, and be willing to learn about what is means to know and follow Jesus Christ. Ultimately, we're about helping you to become the best "you" that you can be...and helping you become the "you" that God always intended for you...does that make sense??? Well if it doesn't, come and join us anyway and we'll figure it out together! We hope to see you sometime soon!
