May Bible Question of the Month
We've been teaching through 1st. Peter recently. I've appreciated the interaction with many of you over the questions I've asked from 1st. Peter. In 2nd. Peter, right at the beginning of chapter 1, Peter writes this, "His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust." I would like to know what those "great and precious promises are that Peter refers to. Please write a paragraph telling me what you belive those promises to be.
